Schaeffer’s CarbonTreat Premium Fuel Additive is highly effective at combating carbon deposits and plugging issues that can impact engine performance. CarbonTreat contains a combination of additive systems to improve fuel economy, reduce exhaust emissions and increase horsepower. Further blended into CarbonTreat is our proprietary lubricity additive, SynShield, which helps prevent fuel system wear and injector scoring. During colder temperatures, this premium additive helps prevent fuel gelling, waxing and fuel line freeze up.CarbonTreat has three times the detergency needed to provide cleanup and keep clean performance as shown by the Peugeot DW10 Injector Depositing Test. Developed for new model vehicles, CarbonTreat can also be used in any diesel powered vehicle and in all types of diesel fuel including low sulfur diesel fuel and biodiesel blends. For best results, add product at least 10° before fuel reaches cloud point.
